When my kids were little, I struggled to find high-quality baby and kids ‘clothing that was both well-made and locally produced in Lebanon. I knew there was a need for something better- clothing that combined comfort, style, and quality while supporting local craftsmanship. That’s where the idea for my project began.
But it wasn’t until the Beirut port blast that this vision took an even greater purpose. In the wake of devastation, I saw an opportunity to create something meaningful- not just a brand, but a way to support my community. By producing locally, I could help create job opportunities, revive artisanal skills, and give back in a way that truly mattered.
What started as a personal need grew into a mission to provide families with beautifully crafted clothing while empowering the people behind every stitch.
At Hippie Heart it is very important that the clothing is made from soft materials that are comfortable for babies and children’s skin. That’s why we exclusively use cotton. We work on our collections in reasonable quantities with the aim of not overstocking and of coming to you more regularly with new items.
